Dr Azhar-ul-Haq Lodhi is an independent food research consultant. He holds doctorate degree in plant biotechnology from King’s College London, University of London, UK. He gained several years of post doctoral experience in GM foods working in academic and industrial environment. He also holds honours degree in Agriculture with specialisation in food technology and a Master’s honours degree in Food technology.   He authors principle publications in food technology and biotechnology with emphasize in GM plants. Currently Dr Lodhi is a managing director of halal food research consultancy based in UK.
